Brian C. Harris, DDS, MD
Meet Dr. Harris
Dr. Brian Harris is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with excellent training along with a caring and compassionate demeanor. Dr. Harris graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he was elected to membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Theta Theta chapter, and received the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Scholarship Award for achieving the highest academic standard in his graduating class. Following dental school, he served three years as a dental officer in the United States Army where he obtained an additional year of training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
Upon completion of his military service, he completed a 6-year dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a 2-year certificate in general surgery.
Dr. Harris is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He enjoys staff affiliation at Sutter Roseville Hospital, and has extensive training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Harris is also an active member of numerous professional organizations which include the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
